Discover France, the parent company of our brand Cycling Classics, is an Official Tour Operator to the Tour de France for 2011! We are just one of four companies authorized to provide VIP Tour de France tours. These provide both Tour de France viewing and opportunities to ride the race course just prior to the arrival of the pro peleton, meet pros and the media, cross the finish line and go on the podium yourself! We offer full VIP tours that are challenging cycling or moderate cycling, Etape du Tour (ride the full stage of Pau to Tourmalet!), the Grand Final in Paris, and what we call "Domestique" Tours that ride hard without the VIP access. The Tour de France in 2011 starts July 2 in some small towns in the department of the Vendee in Western France, a department in the Pays de La Loire region. The tour will end on July 24 in Paris. We offer numerous professionally guided and some self contained tours.
