Cycling Classics offers services to tour operators and travel agents wishing to organize their own 1-off groups, or multiple repeat groups throughout a season. We can provide services in the background, under your brand name, and at competitive rates that make doing it yourself from far away a less desirable option. Any of these services can be mixed and matched to fit your needs.

Bike Rentals

Our Eddy Merckx bicycles are available for rent in quantities from as few as 2 up to as many as 40. Sizes are variable, and subject to availability. We also have limited access to Look and Kuota brand bicycles in the case of large numbers of bikes being needed. Delivery/pickup services also available - subject to quantity of bicycles being requested.

Vans & Motorcoach service with roof racks or enclosed bicycle trailer

We have experience operating large groups with this kind of set up as well as smaller groups wanting more comfort. We own vans and can make them available for rent on a minimum 1 week basis. The buses are professionnally driven, with bilingual drivers, and have bathrooms on board, air conditioning, TV with VHS/SECAM/PAL, DVD players, and in some cases bars/refrigerators for keeping drinks cold. Seats can be removed to make space for bike boxes or other additional considerations. The trailers are fully enclosed, lockable units capable of carrying up to 30 bikes and limited additional equipment such as boxes, work stands, tools, and more. Another option is also available without trailer, installing bikes in the rear of a coach, max space is limited to 22 cyclists in this option. Vans are only for rent to professional organizations with their own insurances, specifically hired non-owned policies. We do not rent vehicles to private parties, but for these we can arrange mini-coach with driver.

Guides/Car and Van support

Professional bike guides, certified in France and experienced with professional and amateur race support as well as leisure cycling vacations. Guides are of course bilingual, and attentive to customer needs yet mindful of tour costs and time constraints and logisitics. They know how to pick and choose back roads in France and all can serve as backup mechanics. Guides can come equipped with vehicles for use in SAG/Support format, or for streamlined roadside support only format.

Tour Design/Trip Planning

We can organize a complete package including route design, roadbook preparation, and any other services requested. Route Design has a minimum non-refundable fee required to compensate for the considerable time this service requires. Hotels - bicycle friendly establishments with good "athletic" cuisine and storage are part of our database. We can organize at deluxe to modest levels of accommodations.

GPS- a new feature; but we can provide routes on GPS handhelds and bar mounted units; no more than 1 per 2 persons.
